I've had my n900 for a couple of years now, it's a fantastic phone but I'd like to know how it compares to other, more modern phones now we are in 2012?
One thing that bothers me about the n900 is the poor performance of the web browser. Surfing sites like Facebook can sometimes be painful. I know there are apps out there for Facebook but I never found one I liked as much as the actual site. Viewing videos via the web browser is usually slow too.
Another thing I dislike is the poor performance of the battery. With the Internet on, a fully charged battery would last 3 - 4 hours. I have turned things like GPS, Bluetooth and 3G off, as well as lower the screen brightness.

So how to more modern phones handle websites? Can people give me names of phones that are better than the n900? Price isn't a concern at the moment, I just want to know what's out there. I may just keep my n900 still.
