The Following User Says Thank You to phedders For This Useful Post: | ||
There are 2x, what look to be, miniature wire-wound inductors on the face of the N900. The seem to be part of the speaker setup and I am hoping to find some replacements. They are really difficult to desolder as the solder pads are beneath them, my usual trick of heating the solder pads and slipping a razor blade underneath them is not working due to the access.
I've lost a couple due of these to a terrible job forevercellphone did when they put the remanufactured phone they sold me as new. The person who did the job didn't properly torque the screen screws, 1 or 2 came off and ended up shearing the inductors off the board when I used the slider. I bet I aren't the first person this has happened to.
So, two questions:
Anyone know the value of them?
Anyone know where to get replacements? I am hoping to get some at jameco as I'm about to do an order..
