I'm also interested in this, though I never took the time to pursue it. I suppose the way to go is to install the harmattan scratchbox and install a maemo toolchain on it.

Yes, you can have multiple working targets in the same Scratchbox installation (mine has Diablo, Fremantle, and Harmattan targets set up).
I've started out with a Fremantle SDK installation. IIRC, the Harmattan SDK installer "upgraded" my existing Scratchbox installation just fine (both the Fremantle and Harmattan targets were working OK).
I've installed the Diablo target more recently by setting up a new target manually (via sb-conf).
libfakeroot: invalid port number in FAKEROOTKEY

Is it possible to have Harmattan and Fremantle target on the same scratchbox install? I'll be willing to anyway push stuff to obs, but it's nice to be able to test it locally before pushing it there
