1. Do u think i should buy a n9 in 2013 as a main phone?
2. N9 uses Gpu called sgx 530 at 200mhz. Is it a good gpu? Assuming i have installed nitdroid, will it give me good gaming performance?

Looks like your primary objective is playing Android games on NITdroid. Why don't you get an Android phone/tablet for this purpose?

No, you've got it wrong. I am not a gamer. I do browsing most. Gaming is the the only choice when there is nothing left to browse. Does the n9 have a long time browsing?

Browsing on the bundled browser is a pain on the N9. Choose Opera or Firefox (slower).

pros

* swipeui pissing on WP, ANdroid and IOS
* most open platform
* easy and fun make apps with qtcreator qt/qml and/or python
* webkit browser, however the internal browser has not much functionallity but I use it daily. There is a Firefox app in the store but firefox is bloated piece of **** on N9.
* smother than many android phones even this days.
* easy to root.

cons:

* not 10000000 apps
* if you depend on some crap bank who needs an app to login it will not work on n9: switch bank ASAP and let the *** holes know there is something called html5 and https == no need for ****ing bank apps
* nor instagram or whasapp

Thanks. Iam getting one this week. But about battery life? The battery itself is pretty low. Is there anyway we can change this?

Battery life is very decent. Better than many Android phones.
If you use gsm instead of 3g (and turn on 3g only for browsing), disable vibration in normal profile and use it only for silent... then your will be satisfied.

Of course at first, you'll be all over your N9 so the battery will drain faster. But after the excitment (the major one) passes, the battery life will be OK.

One and a half day , easily, with normal to high use.

ps: the gpu of the N9 is weak for todays standards. But it plays a lot of 3d games with ease.

RAM is great (1GB) and paired with the decent (for Meego's specifications) 1GHZ cpu. It's pretty nice.

*why not trying the N900 as well/instead?

pros:
swipe UI (duh)
Meego Harmattan's simplicity , beauty and coherence.
looks of the device
1GB RAM (outstanding, TRUE multitasking)
good camera (especially macro photos)
fantastic music quality through headphones. (very loud, clear and bassy)
decent battery life
fantastic screen with vivid colors and perfect blacks (Clear Black Display)
body paint does not come off with use
great acoustics (both earpiece and microphone)
dual led (makes great flashlight too)
great community behind it (TMO)

cons:

feeble loudspeaker
takes time to boot
usb port and sim tray are badly engineered (especially usb port)
just "good" video. could have been much better
no HDMI out (just TV-out)
not many applications
looks great, but most people will think it's a f***** Lumia :/
will get you mad thinking why this brilliant OS was abandoned
