Ruh Roh?

Sammy just cancelled the May 24 NYC event, long thought (by me) to be the unveiling of the US Tab 8.9/10.1 or the SII:

What does this all mean?!

Maybe it has to do with the slip up about the S2 being released in the US.

Introducing the Sprint Within, AT&T Attain, and Verizon Function:

I'm not mad on the names, but differentiation is differentiation.

Still no news on the release, but I'm guessing that it's going to happen in June.
What? No T-Mobile model? :P

I would assume you would have better luck asking these N900-specific questions in a NITdroid or N900 thread. You're asking very specific N900 questions here. Considering the N900 wasn't really designed to run Android (NITdroid is something of a hack to get Android on there), you may want to go back and ask in more N900 specific threads about NITdroid in particular, since you'll have better luck there.

Now this is a very interesting twist. The Amazon devices are rumored to be toting the shiny new Tegra 3 super-SoC:

http://www.bgr.com/2011/05/16/amazon...lets-for-2011/

Yep, 'Hollywood' is said to be packing a quad core T30, and with it a hefty boost in 3D performance.

Amazon is apparently prepping these for the holiday season, so look out competition!

Amazon has really stepped-up-the game this past 2 years.
So I'm not so suprised. Hell I bet the software will come with less bugs than the Nexus S!

The waiting game begins. For most people, theyre waiting for its Quadrant score, me I'm just waiting how it'll handle web/HD apps/emulators.

Finally. FINALLY! Gameloft is making some big changes in the way it operates:

http://www.androidcentral.com/gamelo...ed-new-devices

Of the new changes:
- Gameloft will have its games available on the Android Market!
- They will also allow you to download purchased games for new
devices.

This is a huge boost for Android and will give the platform much more exposure as a serious gaming system as gameloft games will be accessible to many more casual users.

Gameloft games are already on the market!
https://market.android.com/developer?pub=Gameloft

Get Asphalt 5 HD for FREE: https://market.android.com/details?i...5free.asphalt5

This is awesome. It probably had to do with the file size limits in the marketplace. Google announced at IO that the market filesizes had been increased to 4GB, which is certainly enough for any game.
