If anyone has missed it, the HTML tab is at the bottom of the screen when viewing the standard GMail page. Once you switch to the HTML view, you can bookmark the page and it will go to that view each time you click the bookmark. I know that most people know this already, but it might help someone...

It is a fresh OS update without any backup restored. Just me or you having the same issue?
