i think you should disassemble it completely. it' quite easy and you need only phillips head screwdriver and torx T5 (or was it T6) key. then clean it up (you may have to use some rubbing alcohol to get the dryed beer out of components.) assemble it and try it out.
I painted my N900 and disassembling it was wery easy, just think and look before trying to pull something apart
pity though, heineken is such a good broduct. so is n900...

????????? switch off the phone! open it, and put all the parts on a big jar of rice (covered)! the rice absorbs the liquids don't keep it on, switch it off you can burn some internal components!
change the rice every day, when it'll be dry, then u can switch it on again after u assembled again the parts.

I dont know why so many people still believe in the rice method.
Rice does not help in drying electronics.
Just think a second. Do you got your rice in a box? Does it get wetter and wetter every day because it soaks up the humidity ... no.
Always dry just in warm air (not hot air).

Did you try to take it apart? And clean the board with Alcohol ethanol 100%
Use ethanol on cotton wool and then clean it off the board. Use hair dryer and drying it on warm not Hot. Leave it for a while and reassemble. That should work once more.
