Just the result of bad google translation. It says 10.1cm = 4".

But reading it through, it looks like they just combined the teaser video, rumours and then just created what they believe will be the Nokia N9. Coz the information is something I could have written from info gathered here about the so called dev device.

Well, if it's true, at least it has same specs as the "dev" device.

They have created a Product Page based on FCC and t.m.o information.
Look at data tab they have ? by every spec not mentioned by FCC
They also have status as Announced which is not true

did you ever read what message I responded on?

I just say its unlikely Microsoft will allow Meego to succes even if it could be a good device for the masses! However I will, like many in this forum, bay the device! But thats different story.

slide out (full = physical) keyboard

but have to comply w/ NvyUS ( post 2380 )
and this is what i'm pissed @.
based on some superficial information, they have made up a phantom device. not that anyone who looks @ it more carefully can't figure out it is nothing but speculation, but still
for a casually browsing person, this may actually look like a real device which may soon be for sales; and this thread may well be the source of that kind of spooks.

i think if m$ could have it its way, there wouldn't be anymore MeeGo devices, neither from NOKIA nor from LGe nor from anyone else, with or without keyboard (iPotatos don't have kbd neither...)

like i speculated elsewhere, m$ may think it is the last hope for NOKIA but NOKIA may pursue its own goals with that cooperation.

strikes me as the same kind of mechanism used in the E7, no?
carries accepted the E7 no questions asked, mostly thanks to the N8's success and the fact it is running Symbian, a known config.
if it was rejected it was more likely because the carriers had the same limited vision as most ppl on the Internet; NOKIA has deserted MeeGo and they would be left w/ an unsupported device as soon as W devices come out.

Anyone remember the "Place your ad here" gimmick that was being pushed by Nokia with Harmattan/Meego?

I for one think the keyboard story was a load of bollocks.
I would be more inclined to think that the Carriers (especially the yank ones) had MASSIVE concerns about just who might be "placing" their ads on those phones.....

I LOL at the idea of Verizon ads popping up on a N9 operating on the AT&T network

i would guess that although the technology/code is sitting tucked away somewhere (waiting for WP7 integration perhaps) Nokia will leave it off on this alleged consumer device.....

and as long as he keeps repeating his point over and over again, we'll repeat ours. fair enough, no?
