Webm or Ogg theora are OK as a format. But you still need a streaming server software for that. In this case the container is flv with whatever they put in there, but they still are using some streaming server which works with it. Note that adoption of Webm is still lagging behind comparing to Flash.

And now we watch the exciting moment when they pile up the chairs...

C'mon, Google could put a place holder image and music. Not that I really neeed it, but they could at least try to have a professional polishing over it

I think it would be pretty rude of Nokia to show up with some Harmattan stuff because that would inevitably steal the spotlight.

I think the decision not to let Quim talk might be a sign that the Linux Foundation won't be accepting Harmattan as a part of the MeeGo family. I think it also means the upcoming Maemo device will be a very lonesome one, just like its older brothers before it.

However, MeeGo.com-MeeGo is bursting with interesting stuff and deserves countless conferences like this in its own right. So let's forget about Maemo for the next two days!

If that's phased out, Nokia could make some presentation with an overview of Harmattan on their own.

I understand MeeGo is not on par with the big boys like Google and its I/O 2011 conference, but c'mon man, is this streamed through someone's phone? Ok, if it's the consumer release of the N9, then I'll forgive you.

There is a timeline on the left, and local time on top of that that matches it.
