Yeah, yeah, I know.. "use the power search", "use google, noob", "it's not for users like you, clown". I know what you're going to say.
Other than that, I need a little help.
I'm using power kernel v47 with uboot, meego n900 DE SF edition and a Kingmax 16GB class 10 uSD card, but I can't seem to boot MeeGo!
Uboot is loading fine. uSD card is partitioned fine after using dd with the latest meego image. gparted is showing the 3 correct partitions. both ubuntu and meamo recognize the uSD card fine.
But uboot can't seem to recognize the mmc card. Running "mmc device" during uboot reveals that the mmc card isn't recognized.

Where\what could be the problem? What should I do?

I have installed Meego, with a similar configuration as yours except for the power kernal. Mine does work, but once in a while an unsupported memory card type is reported. All I have done to solve the issue is remove the card and put it in again.....it does work consistently after that

i was using this guide to make a power kernel with uboot. and as i said, uboot is loading properly.
i've already tried playing with the mmc card (as in removing the card and putting it back in). it's not working.

any other idea?

I made that bloody thing work. At last. :-)

So, I was doing the following stuff after creating the meego uSD card and flashing with power kernel v47 with uboot:
I stopped u-boot booting by pressing any key.
I ran the following commands:
Code:
mmc init <enter>
run loaduimage <enter>
run mmcboot <enter>
then meego should load.
If it hangs and you see errors like kernel panic, using gparted or Disk utility, repair the first (ext4) partition and try again.
Sadly, that damn thing takes ages to load and it's slow even with my class 10 uSD card. But UI is snappy, though
