Hello!

I am running 1.2DE now

I have been playing with it, it's ... OK..
OK for an early release anyhow..
I know that this is a Dev Release, I'm just looking to see what's available.

Is there a package manager available (GUI) or is there ANY repository installed so I can use RPM via xTerm??

I was trying for any basic program..

"rpm -i appname" but always failed. Tried sudo..

What's in the OS for it to be a 3.5GB dd/raw image?

Thank you!

You know, this is only for developers&hackers, do you?
Instead of sudo use "su". Root password is "meego".
Repositories are there and zypper is the commandline package manager.
There is also a GUI - meego-handset-package manager...

You read this, right? http://wiki.meego.com/ARM/N900/CoolStuff

That will get you started and hopefully countless others who manage toinstall the DE without reading a single page of the Wiki... :>
