I love the N900, don't get me wrong. But it's not really any good for games. Lets be realistic.
I dunno, mario64, ocarina of time, majoras mask and quite a few other work well on n64, and there are also loads of playable games for the psx emulators now too, I was loving tenchu stealth assasin before the dreaded usb fault struck...

I like my N900 for the emulators, scumm, mame, amiga, C64, snes, megadrive, webos, dosbox, etc

If the E7 does them well I am tempted
Multitasking just can't be beat on Maemo. It's SOO simple and easy to use. Multitasking on Symbian is clunky and needs more presses and slides to get the job done. Maybe they will fix this when they release that update they've been talking about for 6 months, but right now, the N900 does it all. The E7 is very nice looking, but I'm sure after a short while, you'll miss the user interface of Maemo. And for $650, I'd consider it very carefully!

Yep, like I say, a wobbly usb port has claimed mine for a while (hopefully) so I'm back on my n95 8GB. Not sure how far symbian has come since then but man am I missing my little microcomputer...

Just watched this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k549iMx3YHM

To be honest, I see nothing there that is not there already in the n900, bar the obvious size and camera improvements, and I see that the screen resolution is actually quite a bit lower than the screen on the n900...

Pah... Gimme an n900 in that form factor and I'll be all over it..

Wow just finished reading through Tomi Ahonen's thoughts on the Nokia E7: http://communities-dominate.blogs.co...-that-cou.html

Boy does he sounds dissapointed! And this is a hardcore Nokia and Symbian fan in my eyes eventhough he claims he is not. But goddamn he makes some great points on why the E7 is a regression in so many ways.
