I didn't mean to interfere your good fight but in my very limited knowledge 414 votes could be able to represent that population with 95% confidence level within 5% errors.

My apology to interrupt. You guys may continue.

I have to give you my homest opinion of the work on MeeGo and it is also the same as other peoples posts on here in that it is very slow and nowhere near ready yet for the N900.

Now we have a greater debate about the source code for the Maemo OS of the N900 as you have confirmed Nokia have released to you as a sub-contractor the code we are all trying to get out of Nokia.
This Poll has brought out some very interesting information and if you look at the voting it now stands at 411 for and 15 against, i consider that to be overwhelming odds for Nokia to release the code to the CSSU.

Now we have another debate to chew and that is why MeeGo development and the Maemo CSSU teaim ams are not working together?.

The members of this Community now need to digest what you have said and give comments accordingly.
I didn't vote on this preposterous poll because it is clearly worded to favor the yes side. You yourself said the poll is flawed because it allows votes on opposite sides of the issue. Yet you claim legitimacy for this crazy poll.

What a ridiculous thread.

Let's petition Microsoft for the XP source next.

The mentality of some of the members of this Community are very childish and obviously only here to create arguments, completely ignored by the moderators at the moment too i might add.

The count right now being 423 for and 16 against Nokia releasing the source code for the os of the N900.

This idiotic thread needs closed. The amount of misinformation is astounding.

You do realize that the graphics are not made by nokia? We will never see the source code for the graphics drivers and the OS is totally useless without that driver.

Get behind meego and stop *****ing. It's giving us a better development environment, newer kernels, newer filesystems, a better UI. Maemo is old and tired. Let it go.

As for the "childish comments", you are the one that appears to have a childish mentality, thinking a weak online petition will sway a major corporation to throw away patents, copyrights and break distribution licenses.
