BT5 is nice. Why don't we just create a HackPack for Maemo?
Get all the tools we need and create a kicka** native (Maemo) hackers kit?
This is a lot of hassle to run, we just need to compile what we don't have or add BT5 repos to N900/easy debian...

Oh i actualy have most of them compiled and usable For me i don't need bt5 but although it would be nice to have it (If Only every problem is fixed (keyboard ,crashs)

And BTW you can request some binaries i can upload some
(cowpatty mdk3 genpmk drifnet dsniff(wich inclide msfsnarf urlsnarf etc..) aircrack-ng airdrop-ng ettercap sslstrip w3af nikto airchat-ng etc....)
i have almost every important binary that works on n900

BTW wep is super easy to hack with N900
Also WPA (but needs easy-debian) to create a rouge ap so it is also super easy to hack with N900

there is metasploit3 fully functional on N900
Imagine meterpreter session in your pocket it is super awesome

Well in the bottem line : if you prepared your n900
You will be the strongest person in the area you go to
PS if anyone bothered you
simply destroy him

Hmm or nono don't do that just forgive him

And here is a quik trick that i realy like (using mdk3)
please don't use it to harm people (only to show your friend for examble)

mdk3 mon0 b -g -t -c 6

another window

mdk3 mon0 d

those to lines will destroy every wireless nearby and create unlimited accesspoints (they are all fake)
wich some times destroy wireless drivers in a computer

Oh well sorry looks like i spoke to much
i was just drifted

If you compiled the BT5 kernel and ran it, you would no longer be running Fremantle at all, you would be running BackTrack.

There's technically nothing stopping you from doing it, other than the process itself. I would not recommend doing it if you're trying to accomplish something practical. If you're just trying to learn and do it for the experience, sure, give it a shot, though I would suggest starting to learn kernel compiling with an easier target than this.

As for the other tools, nearly all of them are open source and downloadable, so sure, you can give it a shot. It's a lot easier said than done to get dependencies working in Maemo though, as it has been years since many of them were updated. A lot of people prefer to do compiling in a Debian chroot or now a BackTrack chroot for that reason.

Basically, if you just want to do it for funsies and the experience, knock yourself out. If you're trying to build your own better version though, remember that BT5 took a whole funded team of really smart guys quite some time to get this out. If you don't have resources of your own, this is going to be harder than you think.

It supports up to 4GB. The image included in the first post here should fit, or you can reformat your memory card to ext3 or whatever you prefer and use the official BT5 image. I've posted a link to my blog several times so far that explains that method.
