Just curious which subforum (if any) is the place to discuss newly announced or rumored Meego hardware? It seems like there has been a few announcements in the last few days about new netbooks that will be coming with Meego preinstalled...yet no discussion about these that I can find. Am I just looking in the wrong place, or are people just not that interested?

Yep. That seems to do it. I just thought that this was the place for all things Maemo AND Meego.

I think this is a good place for such discussion. I was pretty impressed by the announcement for the Asus X101 (I think that's the right numbet) with MeeGo and a price of $200 and impressive thinness. In fact, I vowed to buy one, though I don't always keep my vows.

The comments about this were minimal and uninteresting on the Meego site, I thought. How about here?

Yep i will agree with you there, always something to talk about on here, this is where it all happens.

$200 is about the top of my impulse buy level is, and given my disinterest in products from Microsoft, Apple or Nokia, MeeGo has a good shot at my money. I think that Asus Meego netbook has a fast hard drive too, though only 60GB. Sounds like fun.
