first time posting here but lurking since december 2009 when i purchased my n900 after a long wait (remember that debacle with orders from dell). anyway i've been traveling for the past two years and my n900 has been the go to communication tool. as i travel light (backpack) it really has provided me with everything i need in a computing platform. i am still very much in love with my n900 unit...
the reason for this post is that i'm having a video rendering issue with my video recorder that i can't seem to remedy. the videos that i record plays fine when using the default media player but when i use an alternate player such as mplayer (sip as frontend) the video pixelates and tears quite a bit and becomes unviewable. that in itself isn't really a problem but the videos when uploaded to youtube (using the youtube sharing plugin) shows the same pixlation issue. an example can be seen here:

if anybody has experienced similar issues and found a fix please speak up and give a hand. i do have my unit running overclocked with the latest enhanced kernel and the extra decoder support. lowering my clock speed does not remedy this problem. i would like have the ability to take my recorded video clips and post it directly to youtube without using a pc to re-encode the clips. i believe the n900 by default encodes videos in the h.263 format so that could be causing the problem.
