It's called Knots 2.

It let's you stream audio and video from your computer and also transcodes it all on the fly.

For me, it works best with cartoons.

I'll download a show online.

My settings are keeping the original resolution from the show (remove the width 400 and height 240)

Audio bit rate down from 44100 to 22050.

And changed the frame rate from 24 to 8 fps.

Those settings sound pretty ghetto but it actually works quite well for me.

If you like cartoons, also check out this post.

Just read the topic name dude!

Actually I watch Simpsons and futurama (Dr. House sometimes) and they runs perfectly on my n810 without transcoding. But I enjoy the video thumbnails in Knots 2! I use mplayer with simple gui, thats it.

House absolutely rocks!

This is probably my favorite web site.

After downloading a show on my tablet, I'll just kill off any running processes and then go offline to play it.

The shows, while really pushing the older tablet, looks super amazing.

And yeah, you should check out the one video in that post I mentioned above.

I'm able to run cartoons with 720x480 resolution.

I would love if it were possible to suddenly change an entire theme (wallpaper, applets, personal launcher and menu, etc.) with some kind of app.

Kroll, when can you program this for us? *lol*
