wish i could help. only advice i can offer is definately dont buy another one. the software is great (as you would expect from the community) but the hardware isnt much cop.
if you got one yesterday take it back for full refund?
Did buy an N900 from an auction site. cost me €200, later that day i found out the phone i bougt was brokenit woudnt charge.
Weeks after, i bougt one from the store. ( 01-June-2011 ) Yes yesterday. Today battery went low, so i plugged it in, with the original Nokia Battery charger. about 10 / 15 Minutes, Maybe longer the phone went off, and i had Nokia writing on the screen.
Plugged it out, try to reboot it. didnt work. Plugged the charger back in. Now the screen went all black, also the orange / white led below doesnt "blink" whatever you wanne call it. noting happens.
i tyred to switch battery from the old N900 wich should have enough power to turn it on. didnt work.
wtf is going on here, anybody fimiliar with this problem or know how to fix it ?
