So... the thread went from rumored items we'd like to see on the device, to a list of features that won't be there? You guys do know that list can go on forever and ever lol.

Many of the things in the list are bordering stupid to try do the device down
ok, I admit I rarely use the kickstand, it's too slanted and it needs a book behind it to hold the phone in a watchable angle. But I don't see any more stupidity in the list. Maybe I could live without stereo speakers and IR, but I won't trade any of the others for some MHz, you gotta give me something more.

It's just a list with things already on N900 and older NIT's, I didn't mention that the ION is missing a helipad, which I have my sources that it won't sport one.

What we have won with this device

+ no keyboard
+ ultra slim (and hard) body
+ bigger screen
+ still no hw buttons at front, but now...
+ small bezel... so we have
+ body as small as possible for a robust and strong 4" device
+ beautiful at all
+ very nice user interface
+ new technology(s) (at least 1, but unknown yet)
+ best cam thats fits in this phone
+ hdmi

i think we can make this list very long, can we?

me: a consumer, who just want to do usual things in an elegant, nice and beautiful way... like an iphone... just smarter and with full freedom did i said iphone? where is it?? i didnt saw it yesterday...

While it can be difficult draw inferences from the information posted in this and related threads, I was wondering, if it is true that about 92,000 dev devices were made and that about 100,000 N900s were sold, it would seem that there would be plenty of dev devices to go around amongst those keenly interested in such device, at least at the early get go. (Of course I'm assuming that those most interested in a keyboard device are the N900 owners). So, I do not see why you would have to be a developer to buy one. Anyway, I'm not sure if I am working from accurate information so feel free to correct!
