Are you sure that you have correctly installed kernel-power package as it was described in instruction? You may use cpufreqUI or qcpufreq to set new limits easily and use conky to monitor current cpu frequency. Keep in mind that frequency is controlled by ondemand concept and switches dynamically between lo and hi limits. cpufrequi allows to change concept to userspace (fixed freq on your choice).
Please, give more detailed information about your problem.

Not all the processors in the N900 are the same..they all have small differences..That is why some N900's can oc to 1GHz and others cant do the same cause of this difference.
Even on my N900 is can't go more than 900 MHz. If i go more then my phone will reboot just like urs..so don't worry its normal.

yes , im sure that i have installed kernel power correctly
i did every single step
every time i overclocked my phone more than 950 such as 1000 and 1150 mhz , the phone reboot by itself ,
after rebooting , the screen shows that the kernel didnot load correctly
so any ideas
why i cannot overclock my phone more than 950 mhz ,and cannt change the voltag on the kernel power 47 ?
is the problem from my phone or the maemo os?
how can i solve the problem ?
waiting for your replys
