you dont have any accounts.
go to settings and choose voip and chat accounts and add your skype account.
after that you should see the availibility in the status bar again.

I think everybody already know about the thing called 'Availability'.
Today I wanted to use skype on my N900 but when I opened statusbar I saw that Availability icon is missing.
Kind a strange thing.
Any chance to solve this?
Or I have to reflash my phone once again?
