Hi,

Got my n810 a few days ago and am enjoying getting to know it. First problem I've encountered is that the map application fails to initialise correctly. When run from the cl the output is:

Code:
~ $ navicore
navicore-navigator[1501]: GLIB DEBUG ConIc - con_ic_connection_send_event(0x245c10, <MYWILANHERE>, WLAN_INFRA, 0)
navicore-navigator[1501]: GLIB DEBUG ConIc - con_ic_connection_send_event(0x245c10, <MYWILANHERE>, WLAN_INFRA, 0)
navicore-navigator[1501]: GLIB WARNING ** Gtk - gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to allocate widget with width -24 and height 0
This happened with both the firmware shipped with the device (1.2007.42-18) and once upgraded to 1.2007.42-19.

Anyone any ideas how I can get the app to work?

Thanks

Hi

I had the same problem with my map app after it crashed during a map download. I even reflashed the device which did not help. But after some trial and error i fund the solution.

After i deleted the corrupted maps the application worked again. So here's my adivce: Search your mmc cards for a "map" directory and delete it.
