My complaint has mostly to do with screen obstruction. And even if the devs implemented a semi transparent vkbd, I'd still need to lift my fingers off the device to see what I'm writing underneath.

Thanks for quick reply!

Another question - is this deb or rpm based?

All best, D

I like it - quite amusing watching you guys trying to add a contact - though I'm sure I wouldn't be much better! Really like the 4 buttons up from the bottom idea.

Not sure about the updates screen - I would rather a more business-like agenda/emails/notifications screen rather than all that facebook stuff.

Also the same reason why I like stylus better than using my fingers.

Hey guys, i was flipping thru N9 links and came across this nokia developer's guide to the N9 UX:

http://www.developer.nokia.com/swipe/ux/

Did a thread search and noone had posted this yet so i thought id put it up.

And also this image from above link:

On the whole, I'm really excited about this phone, being an N900 user for a year or so. I showed it to my kid sister, who uses a berry, and her first
comment? "Looks like a better version of your phone". lol.

The UI really yearns for good capacitive touch. It would not work on n900. This is a Ui where HW and SW go hand in hand.

foldering support is coming in update release. We are working on it.

I would guess that there's a better chance of me waking up tomorrow as the Queen of England than of Nokia backporting harmattan to N900.
