It has been discussed to death on this site that MeeGo will never be released by Nokia for the N900 (beyond the DE release).
I couldn't even guess the numer of times PR1.4 has been discussed.
We're lucky (with everything that has happened with the company) that they actually released the N9... and you think they'd waste the resources porting a new OS to a device they stopped making some time ago? What possible business reason would there be for that?

Meego N900DE has been renamed to CE means community edition wich is far better name imho.
Summer release tommorow if I remember right...
its not "feature complete" but an awesome project that shows what opensource is about
We all can help improve it by sending bugreport, translate, test, code, make icons, make UI, give hints.
But we should avoid is whiningconstuctive critic is good ofcourse
so lets show Everybody including MrFlop and Microsoft there is no way they can kill Meego/Qt/Linux or opensource and cool devices like n9xx
