Not true! Apart from panasonic who was ignoring USB in favour of SD cards till recently (but they hav USB now) almost every other TV from 2008 onward has USB. And if nothing elese, it can be used for viewing photos. Actually, that is why they put them there at first place. MP3 and video support came later and on more expensive models.

I tried that with N900, htc hero and N8 on my samsung TV.
That's all good and true, but I assume the missus does so on their TV's, not at home. That's almost the only reason I use TV out (well, and to play movies when I'm at my mountain hut).

N9 is already appearing on Finnish operators pages. Hopefully that means that the phones are actually coming on sale fast?

Doesn't mean much, since it's mostly pre-order and "tell me when available" pages.

Do you think that it won't be able to deliver hdmi output via a micro usb to hdmi cable like s2? Anybody knows if N9 has mhl?

Sorry maybe somebody already brought this up, but since Android Apps will be working on the N9 by the end of the year...

Could I safely assume that Adobe flash could work this way as well? Because I know from the Nexus S that you had to download Flash 10.1 from the Android Marketplace, it wasn't pre-installed. Is that considered an app?

Thanks
