Sorry I didn't have time to go thru the thread, but did you guys tried to order thru the n-series.com website ?
The first page (in the N810 product page) asks you for an e-mail "to be the first to know when it becomes available", but if you go to "How to buy" and follow the North America->US store, you'll be able to order it.
I could've go thru the whole process, but of course I don't want to order it in the US but it didn't say it wasn't available.
Plus it was giving a 2-day shipping (FedEx or UPS) for free.

Discount codes still have no balance as of Noon CST (US).
ETA on backorder for Nokiausa.com still Thursday (12/6)

Any news when the discount code is working? I see more and more Nokia shops in Europe, which does have the N810 in stock

Its funny, everytime I see this thread pop up, I get all excited for about a 1/2 second thinking someone is reporting they are working

I hope we get them real soon...

What was the point of the discount? How does this help developers if they can't get their hands on it until weeks after its release and the first major update?
Do you think it is more of a means to stifle you guys until after a launch?

Just wondering

Well us developers can work in the Scratchbox environment or with the N800 OS2008Beta that came out already.
Nothing stop us from working this way...

Not as cool as trying an application right on the real device, but still...
