Great to hear that the update seems to resolve the wifi connectivity issue in QSpot. Next step will now be to push the latest update to extras-testing, as the current version in that repository (and in extras) is quite old.

I have now promoted the current QSpot version (0.9.2-5) to the extras-testing repository, so please go vote for the package there so it can get into the extras repository (replacing the current old 0.8.1-1 version)..

Just to make things easier, you'll find the voting here: http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...qspot/0.9.2-5/
(I got the link right, did I? =)

It's always such a quest for me to find the website... =)

Yes indeed. I have to admit that sometimes I don't vote for apps that I have tested just because I can't directly find the voting page.

It would be cool if the voting could be integrated on the appman/fapman.

aenbacka can you let Qspot automatically search for internet connections and connect to the internet. Every app does this except for Qspot. It would be a great improvement.

Hi Aenbacka,

Since the N9 is coming out, and has a very nice design language, I decided to design a Spotify client for the N9, using standard design elements. How much work do you think it would be to use a UI like that and connect it to the work you have already done? I am trying to figure out if it is possible to create a Spotify client in the N9 design language...

I have been thinking about porting QSpot to the N9 / Harmattan platform, and it should be possible by separating the backend (library functionality) in a form that is suitable to be accessed from the QML UI.

Meegosweden have a n950 for free if you contribute to the site Apply to the contest and maybe you win this so you could use it to port Qspot.

I want Qspot to the n9 when i get it so you have to find one before release
