I have always been able to see the wireless connection, but alas no longer. I can't see it on any PC's and therefore cannot connect, this is why I asked if T-mobile would be able to stop the connection to my n900?

Found out the reason! Seems the first laptop i.e the one I always use was haing a funny 5 minutes when I tried the first connection, as a result I switched ont he wireless on a number of other machines and I think that perhaps there was too much "noise" in the office. Seems to work fine now...

How odd! Sorry folks but thanks for the help.

I had trouble for months getting Mobile Hotspot to work. recently I bought a second N900 (they're cheap second hand) as backup. And with a clean install of PR1.3 and Powerkernel, I got Mobile Hotspot working. It took a couple of reboots, but fine.

Then of course I had to get my original N900 working too. I noticed some stubbornness of choosing my wireless as prime connection. So I uninstalled Wifi Switcher, and that did the trick. I run Wifi Eye too, it gives no problems.

I'm running 0.3.4-version and my problem is that I'm not beening able the share the internet connection.

I am able to connect to the hotspot-network and on my N900 i'm able to connect to the Internet but the connected device, tried both different PCs and a iPad, all failed to find websites.

Does anyone have any idea what to try?

The debs can be downloaded vie the packages-interface but you must first install kernel-power
