The device works fine when its on. I can turn it off fine. If I turn it on immediately again, it powers up. However, if I wait a bit, I can't turn it back on unless I have the charger in. It's completely unresponsive when the charger is not plugged in.

I have posted this a time ago
My conclusion so far is there is N800 faulty lot out there, and mine is in that lot....no fix available, even after reflash, so i suspect it is a hardware issue. Anyway I keep it turned on all day long. No power off since a month ago.

I have other version, NIT works fine, but when you turn it off an keep off for more than 15 minutes, then doesn't turn on again; after severals pushs on power button, then comes back to life.

Same problem seems to affect the N810 too. No clear diagnostic yet.
