Googling some more about ScanTool.net (which is not a .net program

and this post:

which also works (with one tiny change to the sourcecode) in the maemo 5 SDK...and I had this on my N900:

Which was amazing to me, but I still didn't know how to make Scantool connect to my Bluetooth OBD. This was helpful:

but it also took some more googling and some variation of these additional instructions:
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=63750
After which I was able to do this this morning:

http://talk.maemo.org/attachment.php...1&d=1295266342
Which is a start, but as you can see it doesn't fit very well on the N900's screen (although I've made a start at moving things around in the second two pictures), It's not pretty to look at and it's not at alll easy to get working. All of which need to be improved as well as putting it into a 'deb' file package. It'd be great to work together with anyone who can help out with any of these things (I hope you don't mind answering lots of 'noob' questions such as what size is the N900 screen (I have read 800x480, but it seems to be closer to 800x400
