There's no 802.11n support either, and the internal bus bandwidth is kinda dubious for reaching the 25Mbit/s of 802.11g too..

802.11a might be on the n9, that just means it supports 5Ghz. It's not fast but works better with interference.
802.11c doesn't mean anything, it's an ammendmet to 802.11d "bridging standard", used by access point manufacturers but of no interest to us consumers.
I think the fastest wireless on the market is 450mbps, this is achieved by having "3 streams" meaning 3 antennas connected on each end. This usually means it has worse range or more dead spots, and obviously no phone has 3 wifi antennas yet. They still get less than 100mbps in practice.
