spycam only works for Linux

^ No audio for spycam yet.

As for video -

From PC ssh into phone: 'ssh root@<phone IP> -X'
Once inside phone: 'ps-spycam'

--> To stream camera, choose option 2 (Type '2')
-----> To stream front camera, choose option 1 (Type '1'), etc.

To exit - Press Ctrl+C.

The hyperfocal distance may be acceptable for something as close as personal a web camera, unless someone gets closer than 3 or 4 feet (depends on what the hyperfocal distance turns out to be).

I still get the same error I previously reported. I wonder if anybody has been able to make it work on Windows anyway.
I still dream of making use of N900 power as a webcam like on a MSN video streaming interaction.

@phobus - yeah okay im working on it...

AngryMasterYoda - and that's it. If you're on linux, you should get a popup X window with the front camera stream in it.

If you're on windows you need to use Putty with X11 forwarding.

No (trying it from windows with X enabled).
Indicator is red.
From Linux: yes, I see window on my phone (gst-launch-0.10) with camera output.

Yeah the spycam doesn't work with windows. But it's working with linux right?
Is the video choppy? It seems that I can only stream it as raw output...
