As it's easily known by reading this whole thread (not so long, to be honest - only 7 pages...), it's general fix.As for compiling, why don't You try Yourself?
Last thing, not so crucial - to avoid missunderstanding, are You talking really about latest, untouched DE, or - as i suppose - about CE?
The target of this activity is to make a Community Edition of MeeGo for the Nokia N900 device. Note: The initiative was originally called Developer Edition, so you will see that mentioned in many places. Don't get confused, this is the same thing

That doesn't match the sha1sum of the file linked in the first post. Also, that file contains the magic "2.6.28.10power-omap1" which is not right.
I've attached my module that I am running on my N900 for stock kernel PR1.3.

Using a freshly installed PR 1.3 (i.e., with a stock 2.6.28-omap1 kernel), the module linked in the first post, i.e., AndrewX192's version, results in a reboot loop.
Replacing it with stlpaul's version allows the system to boot and writing to the card does not result in any errors.
MD5 hashs of the various modules:
Original (/lib/modules/2.6.28-omap1/omap_hsmmc.ko): 1c6e453684ea56cbb04dd0b2506d6cd6
Broken (AndrewX192's version):6bd52c239ea51cbeb34b6ead0c02e325
Working (stlpaul's version): d4468028f54732292bbe08ae4d5d73d4
