I got it running stable for several hours. I installed SetCPU on a whim, and it turned out it was set to 1150 MHz by default, while my phone is only stable up to about 950. I set it back to 850 to be safe, and it ran fine. But then it froze while trying a racing game, and hasn't booted completely up since. I think I will just re-install, and then install SetCPU right away.

I've done some serious testing and benchmarks for NITDroid, and the best settings I could get to were 250 805 with the conservative governor. Tuning down the up threshold a bit, and activating ignore nice load are also recommended.

Well, I got Android running semi-stably, and added the Sense theme. I love it! Thank you Ammyt!

P.S. Can't wait to test sound in calls, even if you can't make out what is being said!

Hey guys, i need to know something but because i am in cyprus i cannot read previous pages because the internet is so problematic at the moment.

a few days ago a large explosion knocked out a powerplant and other building etc, its been causing hassle ever since!

i got n12 working beautifully on the emmc, infact when i go home im going to fresh install both maemo and android however my device on android has been pretty dam hot

I proceeded to install setcpu but havent used it much until today, where the readout is showing 1.125ghz on the clock...

I have pushed android very hard since installing it so im garanteed for that clock to have been hit if setcpu is accurate,

i see from the above post that someone else has this very high cpu so my question is, how many people have stupid clocks??

And does running my device with clocks like that do alot of harm? hell thats nearly double ghz right there, how my machine hasnt exploded yet is beneath me! anyone put my mind at ease? ive been playing drag racing the whole day at stupid clock!

cheers,
Cata

It all depends on your particular phone. Some are more stable at higher clock speeds than others. Mine, for instance, will crash often if it is above 1 GHz. Yours seems to handle those speeds better.
