Hi,
I'm trying to reflash my N900 with the eMMC- and the Fiasco-Image. When I plug it into my Computer, the Installation of the N900 USB Rom fails and the flasher keeps telling me that:
Code:
c:\Program Files\Nokia\Flasher>flasher -F RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_E
MMC_MR0_ARM.bin -f
flasher 3.11.5 (May 17 2011) Harmattan

Suitable USB interface (bootloader/phonet) not found, waiting...
Found device RX-51, hardware revision 2101
NOLO version 1.4.14
Version of 'sw-release': RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_MR0
Image SW version <none>
ERROR: APE algorithm has to be provided to flash all the subimages
Have you any ideas how I can get rid of it (even if I don't want to put it in the title - but I really need the phone )

MfG Blck

The Harmattan flasher won't work with the N900, use version 3.5.

You can't see it, but I'm running through the room screaming - if stupidity hurts

Thanks for your help - I did install Ubuntu using Wubi, let's see if that works, otherwise I'm going back to Windows. But thats not your business. Once again the TMO-Community did a good job.

You guys really made my day God I love my N900 (you can brick it and restore it, just like that)

MfG Blck

P.S. Post seems confusing? I'm just happy!

There is no x86_64 binary, but the i386 one works fine on x86_64 distributions that allow you to install i386 libs.

Thanks. I get "Error: Wrong architecture 'i386'. So that didn't work.
Code:
uname -om
x86_64 GNU/Linux

Don't try to install the i386 deb on an x86_64 distro, that won't work (deb multiarch isn't here yet). Use the tar.gz file.

Asking in the MeeGo/Harmattan forum would be my suggestion.
