Hello Maemo forum, this is my first post

I've been using Pidgin for IM and its great, but some time ago it just... broke. I don't know what can possibly be wrong, when I click the pidgin icon simply nothing happens.

Using `apt-get purge` and then reinstall does not help...

I started it with debug mode in the terminal and here is the output:
http://pastebin.com/jEe1vj8u

The process just keeps running and nothing comes up on the screen...

Interestingly, when I start it without the debug mode, there are two processes... but only one with debug.

Anyone has any ideas

Do you use undervolting via kp? I had similar issues only once, and slow (normally unnoticeable) filesystem corruption via titan's undervolting profiles was to be blamed. with time, more and more applications just stopped working - processes were running, but nothing more than that.

Restoring old backup via backupmenu + preparing my own undervolting settings (higher voltage when needed) solved this problem once for all.

Of course it may not be the case here, but I think it's worth posting anyway, as possible solution.

I don't use undervolting or anything else that could, to my knowledge, potentially corrupt the system in a serious way. I'd say I am a casual user.
