Okay, I finally got OpenVPN installed and working but I don't like the way I have to go to xterm and type a command each time I want to use it. So I googled for an OpenVPN GUI. I found the following: http://gopenvpn.sourceforge.net/. It is based on Linux Ubuntu. So since the N800 uses Derbian, can anyone tell me if this will work on the N800.

Well you would have to install the development environment on a linux machine, download the source code, likely make some changes, and try compiling it to see.

If you are just looking for a way to easily "launch" commands to scripts there is "Kerez" though:

It basically lets you create a list of commands and scripts you run often and then allows you to select and run them ala carts with either no output, a window to show output, or by tossing it into xterm. It's a Pyton program though, so you will need the Python runtime installed. I like it

Fast and easy access to one-liners like that is also provided by John "gnuite" Costigan's version of the load-applet-with-screenshot-and-run. Very effective.

Yes, that gives very quick access. Does anyone know if it's available for OS2008 yet? or maybe the OS2007 version still works..

Edit: I couldn't find anything newer then a OS2006 version which doesn't install.

Just adding my cheers for the load-applet-run applet, I add my repeating commands (like 'killall enprocess' to fix a non-launching email) to it. Very easy and quick.

Thanks for the responses, guys. I'll mess around with your suggestions and see what I can do on my own.
