hey guys, i recently installed a script by putting it in the mydocs folder and then ran xterminal for it..... from neoman.org for putting a reboot button on the power button, it worked but then i did a reboot, and i had the digital nature theme installed, i put the phone on charge then took it out after sometime... the phone froze, like nothing was working, not even able to kill current task, had to take the battery out and then put it back again. was it because of the script i installed or something else? please urgent help needed, if its due to the script how do i remove it?

i can't do a reflash for that, it's too hectic and complicated as well

Reflash is only way if you can't boot into maemo. Unless you had backupmenu installed and allow you to start SSH and/or restore backups then reflash only way to go. Just have to repatition your MyDocs again.

Sounds a bit drastic for a script. Which brings me to the question: Why did you need to use a script in order to get a reboot button? I mean, the config file is there, the reboot button is there, all you need to do is uncomment it.

So: What script did you use. Paste a link or put it on pastebin or so. To me, it doesn't sound like something that was caused by adding a reboot butting, so perhaps there was more to the script than just that?

/etc/systemui/system.ui.xml

Try commenting it out, though I doubt it will change things.

Edit 2: It turns out there's a noob thread about these mods as well.
