I'm sure this has been brought up in this thread before, but I think the support for this idea: http://getsatisfaction.com/spotify/t...potify_on_mids could be a little bigger than just 24 people?
Anyway, thanks for this amazing app aenbacka! Simma lugnt

Do you have the extras-devel repository enabled, as both yaspot and footify should be installable from it?

i just tried using the instructions here: http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-devel#H...e_Extras-devel

but i get an error for the extras-devel repo, http://repository/maemo.org/extras-d...armel/packages 404 not found [IP:184.84.222.32:80]

and the same with non-free, so i am unable to find those apps.

The repository URL should be http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/.

I have been working on getting the current version of QSpot to work on MeeGo CE / Harmattan, and thought I would share a link to a screenshot of the current look of the NowPlaying screen on MeeGo CE (using meegotouch styling). This is just a first test, a lot still needs to be done (e.g., getting the playback working properly).

The screenshot is at: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9963673/QSpo...ng_MeegoCE.png

Looks good. Because of smaller letter size its clearer. But you could use green instead of blue because green is the true spotify color.

Seems that they have extended the N950 device program with some additional units, so I will try my luck with that one.. Testing on an actual device would help the porting to Harmattan / N9 considerably..

So in case you want to support QSpot on the N9 / N950, you can give it in the thread at forum.meego.com: http://forum.meego.com/showthread.php?t=4067 ; it would be greatly appreciated..

i finally got a chance to futz and fixed the URL, installed yaspot and am having essentially the same issue--these playlists show up in the 'stored playlists' area, but when i click on one, it won't display the tracks in it.

the playlists were originally created in itunes and are on my machine at work, where i also run spotify, is there some known weird issue about that?

I have not used Spotify with ITunes myself, in what way exactly have you created the playlists in iTunes? I have myself created all playlists directly using the desktop Spotify client, and have not experienced any issues. Have you tried creating some playlist using the Spotify client to see in case it makes some difference?
