I think, we do not nedd that line anymore in the dbus settings file:
#:vfs100
#/opt/scripts/cpu_normal.sh * * com.nokia.mce.signal display_status_ind on
as mentioned some posts before.

So -as You see- I have, I have it disabled again and its working fine. Okay, no problem, just double. Maybe next version remove it again?


How to check the vfs settings (You need bash):
#!/bin/bash
for ((i=0; i<60; i++)) do echo $(cat /proc/sys/vm/vfs_cache_pressure); sleep 1; done

Then just try every possible option in between one minute (60s) and You will see the VFS changing...

karam i dont think if the battery is good for me using the patches.u said how to check if batt patch was applied. is it 100 percent if we see 100 vfs after the command that the patch is applied? i am using ur profile but donot see a major battery life.

3-)Open xterminal and write:

------------------------------
sudo gainroot
------------------------------

apt-get install bash
cd /home/user/MyDocs
bash install.txt


I found a miss..
It should be bash speedpatch-install.sh.txt ? insteed of bash install.txt?

use
bash speedpatch-install.sh.txt
or rename the file ininstall.txt

the patch will work without it
but we need it to activate the patch when we recieve a call

hey karam.. tks for the patch but in swappolube should i click proposed after installing the patch???.. currently my vfs is at 10 and battery(nokia's)comes for about 7hrs on continuous usage..i am using your profile.. so can u jsut tll me what to do regarding swappolube..

you can click proposed in swappolube
there is nothing conflicts with the patch

also i mentioned swapploube proposed values at the tweak part on 1st post

so far, so good on your latest battery patch update.

karam i tested ur battery patch plus ur profile. i can say that it definetly improved the battery. i get like a day with good use. before the patch, i got like 17 18 hours.
