He probably meant something like a "video tutorial". Crap, i can read information like that in 5 mins, but watching a stupid video costs me much more time and for checking something in between or "re-read", you have to pause and/or rewind.

When reading "Step by step" oder "tutorial", i always have that "Oh oh! Difficult for getting a Noob to understand" alarm...
