The round, flat, transparent tip ... not diggin' it.
I want a stylus that feels defined, like it has an actual (smoothed out) pointed tip.

Hey guys the 10 inch HTC flyer has been leaked more and will probably be unveiled on September 1st so very soon. I hope the device isn't att exclusive and probably won't be att exclusive. Also 1.5ghz dual core snapdragon I wonder how that would compare to the Omap 4460 in the Nexus Prime and Archos G9?

I'm not personally interested in the device but this probably mean a price drop on the 7 inch flyer. Also for all of you Samsung fans Samsung is most likely going to release another 7 inch galaxy Tab with a 1.2ghz exynos processor as leaked by there product roadmap it will probably run honeycomb 3.2 instead of gingerbread.

The round, flat, transparent tip ... not diggin' it.
I want a stylus that feels defined, like it has an actual (smoothed out) pointed tip.
I've got this one (picture above) and its not so great, since the tip is "squishy" it is hard to judge how hard you need to press. Too much and theres extra resistance making swiping NOT seemless. Too little pressure and it looses enough conductance (at one point of the gesture) that the phone (SGS/DZ/DEXT) wont register it.
Have a look at the green thumb-stylus... that has an actual tip.
'Tis bad luck the iPik has a bad surface tip, tip is too long, and is cut on an angle which causes swiping difficulties on the lower areas.
The soft round one's look like they could work for better touchscreen typing which could mean some of us "legacy" users can ditch the qwerty form factor. And then just twist the soft thumb-stylus so that it can be an "on-standby" ring ... i dunno something about that just seems like a brilliant idea that I want to get my thumbs-on.
