Just because you spammed this question in so many threads, I answered you only in one of them. Now, have happy hunting for which one is that.

---

If You don't recognize irony (although, I really answered only in one of them), I'll say in simple words - stop spamming, and read carefully this:

...if You want to get further help.

i had excatly the same problem and it turned out to be the problem wid the screen protector..

the touch screen behaved very weird and it was difficult to belive in the end when i figured out the culprit was the screen protector.. just take it off and get a new one

Oh well.. one more reason for me not to buy a screen protector
(been considering this for a long time.. but I'm still undecided)

So, as promised, with much surprise I'm taking back my words.

It's really little shocking for me, cause i'm using screen protectors for every screen-containing mobile device I have for years, and never ever encountered such as mess.

Maybe it's way protector is attached? Or the fact that I'm using cheap (but still best, IMO) polycarbonate protectors, that cost ~2$ each?

In fact, I've tested almost every single type existing - including polyurethane, zagg/phantom variants, spray ones and whatsnot. And, at the end, I concluded that good 'oldie polycarbonate ("thick" one) is best of them. It's most resistant to fingerprints, most easy to "install", and very, very cheap. Since I bought 5 of them for less than 10$, i'm still using first one - entire pack will be enough for +- eternity

@reinob

Even *if* some people have troubles with screen protector, requiring them to pay another ~2$ for one once a (few) year(s), it's still worth, considering that every unprotected screen *will* become full of scratches, after some time. No matter how carefully You are. And, touchscreens are 2-3x more prone to this, for obvious reasons.

I had a similar problem that seemed to be caused by moisture somewhere. The solution was to wait a week or so. The problem slowly got less extreme, then vanished.

As for moisture, I would rather go for disassembling, bag of rice, and hot + well ventilated place for few days/week. you never known, when oxidization problems will backhit again.

Well, the thing is I'm quite slow to decide (it took me about a year to decide to buy the N900 , and with screen protectors I wouldn't know where to start looking and/or doubt that I would install it properly (I have two left hands .

I've never used a screen protector and though most of my phones have a few "minor" scratches (one day I'll post a picture of my Nokia 6800 I don't find that so annoying..

Anyway, I'll rethink about this, and probably in about 6 months I'll decide exactly which protector I'll buy

[off-topic] So better decide for CordiaTAB one, for the first time you'll be able to put it on screen from first day [/off-topic]
