It's the OS that really counts when it comes to performance. You can have an Android phone with faster processor and graphics chip, but much of that speed is wasted by running all code on virtual machine.
MeeGo phone with N9 like specs will probably perform better than any current phones with state of the art hardware, because the code is native.

I bought my N95 (original N95-1) for about $800 (import) when it was released and it had vastly superior hardware at the time. There is no way I'm paying $1k for this device. The N9 is already a year behind in hardware specs. This is nothing but a sad rip off.
Please don't buy one from this guy. This is just making you aware of the rip-offs that are starting.
