Looking for advice on overclocking:

Mine is rock-solid at 1000/1000, ideal profile. It starts acting up on 1150, even in default profile, as in, random reboots and SiB suddenly crashing (SiB is pretty much the only app I run overclocked, in order to watch rmvb videos on the TV).

If I try loading the starving profile, even in 1150, video will display artifacts, though it stops crashing at all. Any ideais if there's anything I can do to make the CPU run stable @ 1150?

My preorder (technically my second preorder, see below) device was awesome, ran starving at 1000 Mhz and was very stable (my standard profile was 125-900 MHz starving).

Broke the USB connector (luckily still under warranty) and the best the replacement device can do at default voltage is 805 mhz. Lowest I can go is ULV. Now I run 125-700Mhz ulv. Pathetic.

I was spoiled I guess, I can barely stand the slower speed now. Smart reflex for battery savings is all that keeps me sane.

So my experience is that preorder devices were MUCH more stable at high speed and low voltages.

(Note, my preorder device was actually my second device as the first one had random reboots from the factory and was replaces ~ 1 month after release)

don't know if anybody has posted this before, but i made a QBW with the CPU time (time in which mhz) for all you overclockers that would like to have a quick display on what the % in mhz the CPU has been in.

As usual, QBW advanced, import file to buffer and save.
This widget is just black background and small text.

curently using default profile over clocked to 1100mhz runs buttery smooth...

I just tried to overclock my N900 as well. I am in 125-700 profile for now. Runs ok so far. I am bit scared to use anything above 700 though
