^ Could it be still some problems with SW of N9... Cool UI and softwares, but you can't make a phonecall? Or what is delaying it? (Elopgate ofcourse but that can't be real...)

I just got email from trusted person and he said that N9 will come and before christmas... So let's wait...

^I believe someone posted an article earlier recounting the experience of an executive of a major national european carrier using an N9 in a densely wooded area of their network and still maintaining full 3g service where other phones barely registered 2g. I don't think we need to worry about the N9 not making phone calls.

You read it?

Actually i meant software that makes that call, not how good N9 is by hardware... And Yes, I will get N9, asap.

It seems we finally have official confirmation that N9 is the last MeeGo device
There's a very slim chance it'll be be kept in some markets, if it does very well.
But I have my doubts that they'll genuinely try to push it hard.
There's a lot more to find out there, so definitely read it.....

and i didn't know it was xSacha u were referring to (this is the first time u mentioned the name). Thanks, that wasn't so hard
Old news though. Elop himself said SPECIFICALLY that this is the last meego device whether it sold well or not. I tihnk he even cut meego R&D significantly

No Elop didn't. This is the 1st clear confirmation we've had.
The interpretation of what Elop said was wrong at the time.
This is the 1st time it's been 100% clear from any Nokia rep.

There's much more than this point in his blog post & comments though.
So make sure you read it...
