Pali graciously pointed out why I couldn't find kernel-power-headers and afterwards I managed to build the module.

Without monitor connected I saw the device in dmesg, failing to create framebuffer since capabilities could not be negotiated.

With monitor attached crashed the device (or maybe just the UI, I didn't
have SSH running so couldn't try remote login...)

Hi Guys,

i got a few msg's concerning this. I will give it another go tonight...
It would be really great to get it up and running.

@rambo: yes i know i think that is because of the module omapfb thowing errors... have you made some more progress?

My state is: i can see the device being properly recognised in dmesg, i can load the module which is showing a green screen but from there i'm stuck becuase i never got an X server to startup omapfb thowing errors...
