Hello, I seem to be having a problem with my n900, my phone now doesn't allow me to send texts or receive them however I can make calls and receive calls.

I was hoping that someone would have a fix for this as it is pretty annoying.

Thanks, VisTa.

I have now flashed (Didn't flash the EMMC) the phone and now it won't read my sim, I've took the back to make sure it was right and it was.

Is there any fixeds to this?

When you say it "won't read" the SIM, can you be specific about the error you are getting? Most things are fixable, if your phone could make calls at lunchtime, it's unlikely to be a hardware fault.

After flashing the phone beside the clock on the homescreen there is a picture simcard with a diagonal red line crossing it

Have you confirmed that you've flashed the correct firmware for your location? Or searched the forum for related issues?

Can you confirm what you had before, and what you flashed with?

I had flash the OS of the phone, using the guide from maemo wiki. I didn't flash the EMMC however.

The package that I did instaill was
Code:
RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM.bin
