Hello forum,

I'm a beginner N800 user(OS2007), so please be patient.

Have a problem with the screen: when I'm trying to write with the small keyboard, I always have to put the stylus in the upper part of the virtual key.

After I tried to recalibrate the screen, I've noticed exactly the same problem. And for the strange part of my story: it's doesn't matter where I'm putting my stylos during the calibration procedure, nothing changes!

Oh, by the way - exactly the same problem in OS2008!

Anybody out there who had the same problem?

P.S.: I've found something new: if I configure the screen in the wrong way (put my stylus a little bit under the rings) and then restart the device, the configuration will be used! And then the digitizer works like a charm, but just without this special button (for changin language and something like this) in the left corner downside. Could it be a digitizer failure?

Make sure that your palm is not touching the screen. It took me days to figure out that was my problem.

belive me - nothing with my palm!

it's just the touch screen in general (when i'm calibrating it just in a normal way) and the lost ability to get a correct response of the down left coner. After calibrating it in a false way (always clicking under the cros during the calibration procedure) - everything seems to be ok, but when i try to click the special button (you know, copy and paste, language choser etc.) in the full screen, it's doing nothing but trying to write capital latters. You know, shift intead of the special button.

It seems like my digitizer were broken... Hmmm...
