Hi All.

Is there one of the great devs available to create a new "screenshot only" applet/app/widget ?
//EDIT: It's all because CTRL+Shift+P doesn't work in portrait mode.
Or could one rip out the screenshot part of load-applet and can post a compiled .deb ?

would be nice. My coding skills are much to limited.

Thank you.
P.S.: I would donate a beer.

Just press Ctrl-Shift-P and a screenshot is saved in images.

yeah, but i forgot to mention. I need it for portrait mode screenshots.

rip out the screencast and the cpu monitor out of "load-applet" would to the job.
i don't need those functions.

Just plain abbility to make landscape and portrait mode screenshots. nice to have would also be an option for taking multiple screenshots.

I have already the code to do a screenshot with QT. Do you need it to get the screenshot after 8seconds the app is started?

Hi Mate. It's doing it's job
But I wouldn't mind more comfort

You know 'shortcutd'?
...with it, we can set actions for short/longpress camerakey or proximity sensor... it can also launch "custom shell command"...

So I wonder if you could develop screenshotme to work with
'shortcutd: custom shell command'.
so we could set "Take screenshot" for camkey or proximity sensor.
Could you also implement notifications like
"Screenshot taken! Saved at /home/user/MyDocs/.images/Screenshots"

Do you mind uploading your sourcecode as well?
I want to learn a bit more about QT and would like to see how you did it.

Thank you in advance.
Your work is highly appreciated!

Thank you.

You can already use it with shortcutd, just put its binary path into the custom shell script ( it's "/opt/screenshotme/bin/screenshotme" ). But it will still do the SS after 8secs, let me change it first.

Ok, binary to take ss as soon as it is lanched, to be paired with shortcutd (or be lanched from ssh, script etc...).
